If you love your pool the AcquaSense 2 Pro is a must. Mine had a small hiccup and they replaced it quickly, and my new one is back to work freeing up my time.

I absolutely love this pool bot. Just push a button or two, set it in the water, and forget it. Actually, just watching it do it's thing is rather mesmerizing. The only minor negative is that the charging stand can't be left outside. Not a deal breaker though.

This is a great win-win idea. I'm retired and live alone and have a large pool (22k gallons) with several irregular shaped features, including a waterfall and an infinity edge spa. This picture was taken before the big Texas freeze of 2021 that damaged the black tiles on the waterfall and spa.
Hate is much too strong a word for my Beatbot Aqua Sense 2. I love it. It cleans so much more thoroughly than my many previous Polaris pool sweeps. It makes the rest of daily pool maintenance much less of a chore, and my pool sparkles again! Plus no hose to constantly tangle. I do wish it was lighter, as placing and removing a 35 pound cleaner will become a challenge as I grow older. I'm sure this is due to the battery that gives it surprisingly long battery life (approx 4+ hours for me so far).
If there was a way to make the cleaner lighter that would be great. Also, I have a 4 foot by 11 foot tanning shelf at one end, about 6 inches deep. If my Beatbot would crawl up on that shelf and clean it that would be awesome! I keep hoping it will break its built in rules and climb up there. I'm an Engineer so I appreciate the challenges with running the Beatbot in such a shallow draft, and it would probably splash a lot of water out of the pool propelling itself around on the shelf. Nevertheless, shallow draft cleaning is a noble challenge for your Engineers to ponder. Here's another vote for the ability to clean an attached spa. I think my Beatbot could probably negotiate mine, except I have a vertical pipe in the center for a fountain that would get in the way. I'll probably try it sometime, but that pipe is quite a challenge to thread into its receptacle, and the cleaner may damage it if I don't remove the pipe. Another feature I want is some way to temporarily increase filter capacity. In the Spring and Fall I get lots of leaves and droppings from my trees, and I'm not looking forward to going back to my pool sweep for a while to clear the deluge. If the Beatbot had a option to add some sort of "leaf bag" temporarily, even with out a fine filter, that would be so awesome. Then I would find a new home for my Polaris.
On a more personal note, I didn't get the Ultra because I felt my skimmers cleared the surface debris effectively. My Brother and his wife moved here to Texas from Northern California a few years ago, and now have a house across town with a pool. My Brother has been an immense help in my life, most recently helping me through a very difficult time when my Wife passed away in 2023. He's my best friend. When I got my Beatbot I was really excited about how well it cleaned my pool. My enthusiasm convinced my neighbor to buy an Aqua Sense 2 as well (they love it!). I also took my Beatbot over to my Brother's house to show them. I always bring a "show and tell" when I visit them and this one was a doozy. I demonstrated it by cleaning their pool with it. I could tell they liked it a lot but I noticed they didn't end up buying one, probably couldn't justify the expense. I've thought about getting them one for Christmas, but that's probably too extravagant for my fixed income in retirement.
