Amazing!

As someone who automates half the house and gets overly excited about things like smart thermostats, I have to say — the AquaSense 2 hit all the right notes. Setup was easy, app worked without bugs, and the cleaning performance? Spot on. From the waterline to the floor, it handled every inch like it had a map in its head. The water even looks clearer.
But here’s the funny part. A few times after a cleaning cycle, I went outside expecting to just grab the robot — and it was nowhere in sight. Thought maybe something went wrong, so I hit up Beatbot’s customer service. To their credit, they replied fast and explained that this model isn’t designed to float indefinitely after finishing like the pricier ones. It surfaces and waits for a while, but if nobody collects it, it gently sinks to save battery.
So I pulled up the backyard camera footage and, sure enough, there it was — just floating there patiently, like a loyal dog waiting at the door. After a few minutes of being ignored... it slowly sank.
Honestly? I felt a little bad. And laughed a lot.
So yeah — the thing’s smart, clean, efficient, and even kind of dramatic. 5 stars for the cleaning, bonus point for giving me a good laugh.

I was a little nervous about getting this item, but I went ahead anyway. For 3 decades I have been cleaning my 40x20 foot vinyl-lined pool with a traditional pole and hose cleaner, into the skimmer trap, taking about 45-60 minutes to clean the whole pool, then having to clean out the trap, etc. The BeatBot is terrific. As easy to use as it says: pick it up from the charger, put it flat on the ground, push and hole the Start button, then drop it in the pool and watch it work. When it's done (about 2.5 hours), it rises to the surface, I pull it out, clean out the filter in less than a minute, and put it back on the charger. It's not perfect. The route it takes through the pool is random, so the idea is that over the course of its run it will by chance cover the entire surface, but it misses a few spots. That's especially true of the corners, where some dirt tends to settle. I try to deal with this by quickly brushing that dirt from the corners toward the center before the BeatBot run. Having said that, it's still wonderful! I have saved many hours of time not having to clean the pool myself. And not having the debris sucked through the system pipes and traps saves the filter as well; I never have to backwash it during the season now. Everyone who has swum in the pool after being cleaned by the BeatBot has said it looks great. I still see a few spots here and there, but this is a great example of the maxim "Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the very good." I'm very happy with the very good. This item is worth every penny I spent on it.

We have owned the box Aqua sense for about two months and we use it every day. It has performed wonderfully in all his duties. We even nicknamed our robot Robbie because he’s become like a little friend. One of the best features of this machine is the fact that you don’t have to plug anything in to charge it, you just set it on the rack, there’s no muss no fuss. We brought an issue about a filter basket to the company and they responded within 24 hours and provided excellent service. We carefully reviewed and studied all the different robotic cleaners available and this company has come out on top in all of our reviews and when you add in the warranty of three years, it just becomes a no-brainer. If you’re looking for a good robotic cleaner, spend an extra few dollars and get a good one. This is the fourth cleaner we’ve owned over the years in different pools and by far the easiest to use and the most efficient. We highly recommend this product to anybody who wants a clean and fuss free pool.
